Physical Therapist

The Physical Therapist at the outpatient clinic in Silt, Colorado, is responsible for evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and overall function. This role involves educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs to support rehabilitation goals. The position supports increased patient volume and aims to reduce wait times through effective therapy and patient care. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients with a variety of diagnoses to determine physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety measures.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and treatments.

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Physical Therapist licensure (DORA) or compact licensure for Colorado.
• Minimum of two years of physical therapy experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• Mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination (no declinations accepted) from October 1 through April 1.

• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Ability to manage increased patient volume efficiently.

• Flu vaccination is mandatory with no declinations accepted during flu season.
• Housing opportunities available near the facility for travelers based on availability.
• Work environment focused on outpatient rehabilitation with a goal to reduce patient wait times.

• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour days per week.
• Days worked may vary to accommodate patient needs and clinic volume.
