ADMIN ASSISTANT / FRONT DESK in KATY 11AM-3:30PM

Front Desk / Admin – Long Term (2 years) Part Time Contract Position in Katy Office. Hours: 11 AM–3:30 PM, Monday to Friday or 9 AM–1:30 PM. Great opportunity in Katy office (not remote or flex). Must have above average Excel and Microsoft Teams skills. SUMMARY This role has a variety of duties: maintaining a professional front‑desk environment, coordinating office activities, managing mail, invoices, correspondence, and supporting front‑desk and other projects. Phone duties are limited as calls are infrequent. The successful candidate will be reliable, organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities while delivering excellent customer service. RESPONSIBILITIES Answer, screen and direct incoming phone calls. Organize and schedule meetings, interviews, and appointments; order and set up lunch. Assist with other administrative projects as needed. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies. Update the organization chart using Visio software (knowledge required). Compile reports for management team/meetings using PowerPoint and Excel (knowledge required). Enter data. Maintain reception area, kitchen, employee breakroom, and office supply rooms. Receive, sort, and deliver mail. Prepare and monitor invoices; ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating equipment and technical issues. Contribute to team goals by accomplishing related duties as needed. May cross‑train to perform other duties. QUALIFICATIONS Previous front‑desk or administrative experience. Above average proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Teams. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent customer‑service attitude.
