Neurosurgeon Opportunity in Grand Forks, North Dakota

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon for a full-time position focused on inpatient and emergency neurosurgical coverage in Grand Forks, North Dakota. This opportunity is part of a high-quality regional neurosurgical program and offers the chance to provide comprehensive care while working closely with emergency medicine, trauma services, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary teams.

Position Highlights

• Full-Time Employed Position
• 183 24-hour shifts per year. Flexible
• Continuous 24-hour call coverage
• No administrative duties
• Shift requirements prorated for partial calendar years
• Comprehensive inpatient and emergency neurosurgical coverage

Clinical Responsibilities

The Neurosurgeon will provide comprehensive neurosurgical services, including:

• Evaluation and management of emergent neurosurgical cases
• Inpatient neurosurgical consultation and management
• Emergency and trauma-related neurosurgical care
• Collaboration with Emergency Medicine, Trauma Services, hospital leadership, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Development and implementation of appropriate treatment plans
• Coordination of ongoing inpatient care and transitions of care
• Providing high-quality, patient-centered neurosurgical services

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Eligible for North Dakota medical licensure
