Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health concerns by employing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools to determine clinical diagnoses and inform treatment plans.

• Deliver individualized, group, or family therapy utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or mindfulness-based approaches, adapting your techniques based on each client’s needs and therapeutic goals.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress, ensuring safety and stabilization while addressing immediate mental health concerns.

• Document and maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal confidentiality standards.

• Collaborate actively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create and implement comprehensive care strategies for clients.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, presenting treatment options and community resources, while advocating for clients’ rights and support needs.

• Pursue ongoing professional development by attending workshops, trainings, and team meetings to remain informed on the latest practices and developments in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with diverse client profiles, including children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R, ensuring eligibility to practice in New York.
