Accounts Payable Vendor Management Specialist

Location: Washington DC Office schedule: 5x a week Contract: 6 months with potential to convert Compensation: 20-27 hr Job Summary Our client within the higher education industry is seeking an AP Vendor Master Data Specialist for a minimum 6-month contract engagement. Requirements 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procurement, vendor management, or related operational accounting functions Experience with a Large ERP system Workday Highly preferred Job Description Serve as primary administrator for vendor master data and supplier onboarding processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity of vendor records across ERP and supplier management platforms Manage vendor onboarding and maintenance workflows, reviewing supplier-submitted documentation for completeness, accuracy, and regulatory compliance prior to approval and activation within internal systems Maintain vendor master data integrity within ERP environment, ensuring consistency, accuracy, audit readiness, and adherence to company policies and compliance standards Administer supplier portal access and vendor self-service functionality, supporting invoice submission, payment status visibility, and ongoing vendor engagement within established internal controls Benefits Benefits & Bonuses: You are eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance benefits, 401K, and monetary bonuses Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
