Accounting Assistant

Accounting Assistant McIntosh Communications is currently seeking an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/Data Entry assistant to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing, entering and reviewing billing invoices for our company. The position requires running credit cards, applying daily deposits and interacting with customers regarding billing and receivables, as well as cross‑training for accounts payable which would include assisting with merchandise received, preparing sales and use tax reports, personal property reports, etc. Participation in the generation of monthly statements and some filing will also be required. Job Responsibilities Compute and record numerical data Check the accuracy of business transactions Perform data entry and administrative duties Assist Accounts Receivable manager Assist Accounts Payable manager but mostly receivables Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in accounting Ability to prioritize and multitask Strong organizational skills Deadline and detail oriented Data Entry skills Typing 60+ WPM minimum, 10 key by touch Proficient at Excel Job Type Full-time Pay $23.00 - $25.00 per hour Hours 40 per week, 8‑hour shift, Monday to Friday Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical Setting Office Work Location In person, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
