Accounting Assistant

Full job description XPT Specialty is currently hiring for the position of Accounting & Administrative Assistant at our Plano, Texas office. Responsibilities Assist the Finance team with collections, payment application and customer inquiries Answer incoming calls, provide pertinent information, and transfer calls to the appropriate source as needed Provide prompt, accurate and courteous customer service through email and telephone communication Maintain electronic filing system as required Process incoming/outgoing mail Assist with office supply order Provide support for administrative tasks and special projects as assigned Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Some college education is desirable but not mandatory. At least one year of professional experience in an Accounts Receivable role is necessary. Dependable, punctual, organized and able to multi-task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Professional written, verbal and listening communication skills. Proactive problem solver. Knowledge of Commercial Property and Casualty insurance is helpful but not required. Knowledge of AIM & ImageRight is preferred but not required.
