Full-Time Physical Therapist for Home Care Services

Position Overview

Flexibility First Physical Therapy is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated full-time Physical Therapist. In this role, you will be instrumental in restoring the mobility of our diverse patient population, helping them attain their highest possible level of function and quality of life. You will engage with patients through various stages of their recovery, demonstrating a commitment to their promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.

At Flexibility First Physical Therapy, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional, personalized care to our patients. Our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA) who share a passion for enhancing patient outcomes through innovative, evidence-based therapeutic options. Operating from a state-of-the-art home care facility located in Burke, Virginia, we cater primarily to individuals with private medical insurance, and our environment is designed to support optimal rehabilitation.

Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work onsite in a dynamic home care setting where teamwork and patient-centered care are our top priorities. Our facility features 5000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine rehabilitation, equipped with cutting-edge technology and a wide variety of exercise equipment to facilitate recovery and promote wellness. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify patient-specific objectives and requirements.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized and attentive care.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques to improve patient outcomes.
• Administer effective, cost-efficient therapies aimed at enhancing clients' range of motion and mobility.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives and minimize medication reliance through effective therapeutic strategies.
• Design and administer customized fitness and wellness programs aligned with each patient's unique needs and recovery goals.
• Foster motivation and support for patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize functionality and independence.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Document patient interactions and treatment progress accurately and efficiently in compliance with EMR standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with private medical insurance seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with patients of all ages facing mobility challenges due to injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your contributions will significantly impact their recovery journey, guiding them to regain vital movement capabilities and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.
• Clean record with no history of board or disciplinary actions associated with your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques for pain relief and mobility enhancement.
• Excellent skills in designing, implementing, and modifying exercise programs tailored to patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist specifically in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• A proven track record of developing successful rehabilitation strategies and patient-centered care plans.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. The compensation package includes:
