Apply deep physics expertise to produce rigorous derivations, clear written analyses, and reproducible computational verifications that train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This contractor role focuses on high-quality, domain-specific contributions that shape how models learn and reason, with no prior AI experience required.

• Solve advanced physics problems within your specialization, delivering rigorous, well-documented derivations and analyses.
• Produce technically precise, clearly written solutions, stating all assumptions, approximations, and final results using LaTeX mathematical notation.
• Use SymPy, Python, and Jupyter for symbolic or numerical verification and to present clear computational workflows when relevant.
• Identify and articulate subtleties in problem statements, including special cases, boundary conditions, and dimensional consistency.
• Flag ambiguities in project materials and propose well-reasoned interpretations or clarifications as needed.
• Iterate on submitted solutions in response to reviewer feedback, integrating corrections cleanly.
• Maintain rigorous standards for documentation and reproducibility consistent with professional research practice.

• PhD in physics, or advanced-stage PhD candidacy with active research experience in a relevant subfield.
• Research expertise in one or more of the following areas: High Energy Physics, Mathematical Physics, Biophysics, Statistical Physics, Condensed Matter including moiré systems, magnetism, PXP/Rydberg, AMO/Quantum Optics, Gravitation, Cosmology, Astrophysics, Quantum Information, or Optical Properties of Materials.
• 2 to 5 representative publications from the past approximately 5 years, with accessible arXiv or DOI records.
• Proficiency with LaTeX for mathematics, and with SymPy, Python, and Jupyter for computational work, or willingness to indicate where additional support is needed.
• Demonstrated excellence in written technical communication, with a track record of clear, precise, well-argued scientific outputs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to isolate core physical principles and provide nuanced solutions to complex problems.
