Condensed Matter / Quantum Information Physicist for AI Model Training

Apply advanced condensed matter and quantum information expertise to implement and analyze large-scale exact diagonalization calculations, interpret overlaps with Z2 states, and produce detailed analytic reports that support a frontier research-level physics benchmark project focusing on the PXP model, Rydberg blockade, quantum many-body scars, and constrained dynamics. This work will help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems, no prior AI experience required.

• Implement and analyze exact diagonalization that leverages translation and reflection symmetries, with QuSpin preferred, for system sizes L 6gt;= 26.
• Construct and manipulate block-diagonalized subspaces of Hamiltonians to improve computational efficiency and numerical fidelity.
• Compute and interpret overlaps with Z2 states, and extract physical insights relevant to constrained quantum dynamics and many-body scar phenomena.
• Produce detailed written feedback, analytic reports, and benchmark assessments for research-level tasks.
• Participate on the project in a role aligned with your expertise and seniority, acting as a Solver, Auditor, or Adjudicator depending on assignment.

• Required: Demonstrated expertise in exact diagonalization techniques, including use of translation and reflection symmetries, and experience working in large Hilbert space subspaces.
• Required: Experience analyzing overlaps with Z2 or related quantum states and interpreting numerical results.
• Preferred: Practical experience with QuSpin for efficient implementations, and the ability to manage system sizes L 6gt;= 26.
• Preferred: Advanced academic background such as a PhD, or equivalent practical experience, in condensed matter physics, quantum information, or a closely related field.
