About the Position

• Schedule & Contract Length: Full-time coverage starting September 8, 2026, through March 8, 2027. Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Facility is also open to a 4-day work week schedule).

• Call Coverage: Weeknight and weekend call rotation expected at a 1:2 ratio.

• Practice Setting & Case Mix: This is an exciting opportunity to support a brand-new Medical Oncology and Hematology community-based practice opening inside a 131-bed acute care hospital.

  • The case mix is roughly 60% Oncology and 40% Hematology.

  • Primary focus is outpatient clinic care, with inpatient consults at the hospital as needed.

• Patient Load & Population: Anticipated initial volume of 10 patients per day, with expectations for practice growth. Adult patient population only (Ages 18+).

• Support Staff & Team: You will collaborate with 1 full-time employed physician. The comprehensive support team features 2 front office staff members, 1 RN, 1 MA, 1 Patient Navigator, and additional support personnel.

• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Fully integrated utilizing Epic charting software.

Requirements

• Education & Board Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Oncology is required.

• License & Credentials: Must hold an active Pennsylvania (PA) State Medical License or an active IMLC Letters of Qualification (LOQ) at the time of submission.

• Credentials: Active Federal DEA registration is required.
