Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally-sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate clients' individual needs, histories, and treatment options.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring they meet the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of your clients.

• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, as well as group and family therapy, focusing on resilience building and addressing various mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate holistic care for each client.

• Offer immediate crisis interventions, helping clients navigate mental health emergencies with empathy and effectiveness.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, available resources, and treatment modalities.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical guidelines and state regulations, ensuring compliance throughout.

• Actively participate in case conferences and cultural competency training, fostering professional growth and team cohesion.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health treatment and cultural responsiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will be centered on serving a diverse client base, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant populations. This requires not only a deep understanding of mental health disorders but also a sensitivity to cultural variations and the unique barriers faced by these groups in accessing mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and various treatment modalities, with an emphasis on culturally responsive therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering individual and group therapy effectively and inclusively.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.

Compensation and Benefits\n
