MUST SPEAK SPANISH Very busy Law Firm
We are seeking an experienced Immigration Legal Assistant or Paralegal to independently manage complex immigration cases from intake through filing. This is not an entry-level role.
Required Hands-On Experience (must have prepared these yourself):I-589 Asylum Applications (affirmative and defensive)
I-765 Employment Authorization Applications (EADs)
Other relevant immigration applications (I-130, I-485, I-131, I-90)
Key Responsibilities:Draft detailed hardship declarations and assemble supporting evidence
Prepare complete application packets accurately and on time
Communicate professionally with clients and USCIS
Maintain strict attention to detail — errors on names, dates, or eligibility will not be tolerated
Qualifications:Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant in immigration law
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
