Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients who are experiencing symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders, using evidence-based practices.

• Collaboratively develop and implement integrated care plans that ensure continuity of care and facilitate access to necessary services, engaging with families and other providers.

• Conduct thorough assessments, including crisis evaluations and screenings, identifying client needs and appropriate interventions in school and community settings.

• Maintain a manageable caseload, and deliver a range of therapeutic services, including individual therapy, group sessions, and family counseling, tailored to the unique needs of clients.

• Actively engage in team meetings, contributing to discussions regarding case management and quality improvement initiatives.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all professional ethical guidelines and the policies of Atlantic Healthcare Clinic, maintaining documentation in a timely manner.

• Participate in on-call coverage and crisis intervention efforts as required, demonstrating poise and adept decision-making in high-pressure situations.

• Encourage empowerment, client choice, and strengths-based approaches while fostering a supportive environment for healing and growth.

This role focuses on a diverse population of students and families within a school setting. You will engage with children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, requiring a sensitive approach that incorporates cultural competency. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program is required.

• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Connecticut is mandatory.

• Expert knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies tailored to children and adolescents with mental health needs.

• Strong organizational and planning abilities, paired with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in utilizing digital tools for telehealth services and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience\n
