Position Overview

White Health Youth and Family Services is seeking a passionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our onsite rehabilitation facility in Niagara Falls, New York. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work directly with patients as they endeavor to restore their mobility and enhance their quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will be integral in implementing treatment plans that span the spectrum of patient care, from assessment to rehabilitation.

Our state-of-the-art facility, which encompasses over 5,000 square feet, is equipped with advanced resources to deliver excellent sports and rehabilitation services. With a team of healthcare professionals, including two Physical Therapists and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), we prioritize evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of our patients, primarily those with private medical insurance.

Work Environment

The workplace is designed to foster collaboration and innovation. As a Physical Therapist, you will work in a supportive environment that emphasizes teamwork. Located within a vibrant community in Niagara Falls, our facility is easily accessible and offers a comfortable setting for both staff and patients. The regular work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual patient objectives and design tailored treatment plans.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of one patient per hour, providing focused, personalized interventions.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic techniques to deliver effective, cost-efficient care that enhances patient mobility.
• Minimize reliance on medications and invasive surgical interventions through appropriate alternative therapies.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that incorporate preventive and rehabilitative strategies to promote long-term health.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving functional outcomes.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that motivate patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Encourage a holistic approach to health by improving patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate care and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Monitor treatment progress, assess outcomes, and maintain detailed documentation of services provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients who carry private insurance, focusing on those seeking rehabilitation following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. This diverse client base requires adaptability and a commitment to tailoring interventions to individual needs. Your role will be crucial in enabling patients to regain independence and improve their overall quality of life through targeted physical therapy strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist in New York State.
• A clean professional record with no recent board actions or disciplinary measures is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this full-time position is between USD 90,000 and USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
