Fore Front Ortho Care Clinic is in search of a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist to join our team of professionals in providing top-tier orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technology. We are a PT-owned practice committed to delivering exceptional care, and we primarily serve patients with private medical insurance. Our small, close-knit team includes two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all of whom collaborate to create a supportive and nurturing environment for our patients.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility and adhere to a Monday to Friday schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM. The clinic is designed with patient comfort in mind, featuring well-equipped treatment areas, exercise spaces, and private rooms for assessments. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical capabilities and needs, developing individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a caseload of approximately one patient per hour, focusing on delivering personalized and effective therapy.
• Employ a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training, to maximize patient outcomes.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design and implement fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific goals of each patient.
• Encourage and motivate patients to actively participate in their rehabilitation process, fostering a sense of ownership and commitment.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed, conducting regular evaluations to ensure effective outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care services and treatment outcomes, utilizing WebPT EMR Software for efficient record-keeping.
• Advocate for patients' health needs by educating them on non-surgical options and promoting injury prevention strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will support a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on patients dealing with orthopedic injuries and conditions. Our clients range in age, presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation goals. You'll have the chance to help individuals recover from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, chronic pain, and other musculoskeletal issues, making a significant impact on their health and daily functioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Demonstrated history of professionalism with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong understanding and experience in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Proven ability to develop and implement rehabilitation plans effectively.

Preferred Experience

• At least 1-3 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Experience using WebPT EMR software or similar electronic medical record systems.
• Proficiency in adapting treatment plans to accommodate a variety of patient needs and conditions.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
