• Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and create personalized treatment plans that align with best practices.
• Implement various therapeutic interventions, including solution-focused therapies and cognitive behavioral techniques, to facilitate positive patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client progress and treatment effectiveness in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Work collaboratively with mental health professionals and medical staff to integrate care for clients undergoing detoxification.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to remain current with emerging trends and research in social work, psychology, and addiction recovery.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals facing the challenges of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The clients come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique life experiences and treatment needs. Your expertise will guide them through trauma, anxiety, and depression while supporting their journey toward healing and self-improvement.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current and active LCSW license in the state of New York.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and empathetically.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and a knack for developing creative solutions in a collaborative environment.

• Experience working within a detox or rehab setting, specifically with clients dealing with substance use and mental health concerns.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client data and treatment documentation.
• Training in trauma-informed care techniques is highly desirable.
