Accounting Assistant

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support its accounting and administrative operations. This position is responsible for handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general office coordination while assisting with month-end and year-end close activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, able to manage multiple priorities, and committed to maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments.
  
  
• Prepare customer invoices, post payments, and assist with accounts receivable activities.
  
  
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  
  
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and reporting support.
  
  
• Provide general office coordination and administrative support.
  
  
• Organize and maintain accounting files and records.
  
  
• Respond to vendor, customer, and internal inquiries related to accounting matters.
  
  
• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting assistant role.
  
  
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting principles.
  
  
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  
  
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is preferred.
  
  
• Experience with real estate accounting is a plus.
  
  
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a collaborative approach.
