Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, documenting their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Developing personalized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, ensuring alignment with their specific goals and preferences.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate meaningful therapeutic interventions.

• Providing clients and their families with education about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitoring client progress regularly and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.

• Working in close collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and optimize treatment outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

• Participating actively in team meetings and case consultations to enhance your clinical skills and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clientele will consist of individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. As you work with this population, you will help individuals navigate their challenges and empower them to develop coping strategies that enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Additionally, you must possess a current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred, candidates with a demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, will stand out. A strong understanding of psychopharmacology is also beneficial, allowing for effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to optimize client care.
