This position, available immediately and continuing through the end of the school year, is tailored for a skilled Occupational Therapist who thrives in educational environments and enjoys a flexible schedule. With a light caseload and a primary responsibility for student evaluations, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping students succeed in their learning and daily activities.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license and DE state certification required
• Previous experience as a school-based OT, with proficiency working with adolescents
• Strong knowledge of evaluation tools and re-evaluation processes
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with IEPs and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations, focusing on middle and high school students
• Assess students’ functional abilities and develop tailored recommendations to support academic participation
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other service providers to communicate findings and ensure continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in alignment with school policies and compliance regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed, contributing expertise to support student development
