Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account both psychiatric history and medical conditions affecting patients' mental wellness, ensuring a holistic view of their health.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to enhance patient engagement and foster growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will serve a diverse roster of patients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other various mental health conditions. You will specifically focus on clients with co-occurring medical conditions such as chronic illnesses, ensuring that care is holistic and caters to the full spectrum of their health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential in New York State.

• Demonstrated experience working with individuals facing mental health issues in conjunction with chronic medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with patients and collaboration with healthcare teams.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate virtual visits.

Compensation and Benefits\n
