This position offers the flexibility of a remote work environment, allowing the counselor to manage their schedule efficiently while meeting clients' needs. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with the possibility of accommodating evening and weekend hours if desired. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial mental health evaluations and facilitate ongoing therapy sessions for individuals, couples, or groups, ensuring a respectful and engaging environment.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that are client-centered, utilizing appropriate modalities based on each client's unique clinical assessment and diagnosis.

• Maintain clear, thorough, and accurate clinical documentation per state regulations and clinic policies to ensure compliance and continuity of care.

The counselor will work with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, and more. The ability to approach therapy with cultural competence and sensitivity is critical to connect with clients and foster trust in therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the State of New York is required.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or a related mental health field is necessary.

• A minimum of 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in outpatient settings or private practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and caseload. Additional benefits include:
