Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care, including preoperative assessment and postoperative care.
• Assist in large-bore IV starts and skin assessment for surgical patients.
• Prepare patients for surgery, including medication administration and skin prep.
• Participate in patient transport and assist with induction/intubation.
• Document all patient-related information and communicate effectively with the team.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Experience with Cerner documentation system preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment preferred.
