Job Details Title: Mechanical Engineer with ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance (US Citizenship REQUIRED) Rate Range: $79/hr - $98/hr W2 (Depends on experience and benefits chosen) Location: Tucson, AZ 85756 (no relocation package) Clearance: Active Secret Security clearance issued by the Department of Defense Duration: 12+ month contract Schedule: 9/80 (every other Friday off) Description GeoLogics is seeking skilled engineers to lead hardware design, development and production of critical defense systems. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, mechanical hardware design experience, system integration skills, and a strong background in program execution and production support. Required Skills Proven experience with concept definition through detailed design, transition to production, and production support. Hands‑on expertise with 3D CAD design tools and related product data management tools. STEM degree with 5-10 years of experience. Desired Skills Experience in design, fabrication, and integration of electronic assemblies, shelter assemblies, power distribution equipment packaging. Demonstrated team player, a self‑driven leader with excellent collaboration skills, interpersonal skills, and positive interactions in a teaming environment. Prior leadership of small to mid‑sized technical teams. Education Required Bachelor Degree required. Must have a STEM degree with 5-10 years of experience.
