Our client is a non-profit organization. They seek a temp Staff Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Complete monthly and year-end bank reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records
- Perform year-end account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support the monthly financial close process and related reporting activities
- Process intercompany accounts payable transactions and maintain supporting documentation
** Requirements **
- BS in Accounting is a must
- 2-3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
- Open to industry
- Experience with any ERP system; Workday is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
