Skilled Trades Recruiter

C3 Workforce is seeking a driven, highly organized Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. This is a full time, on site position for someone who enjoys recruiting, talking with people, solving staffing problems, and working in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing skilled trades candidates with our customers. We are looking for someone who understands that recruiting does not always happen between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Skilled trades candidates may call or text before work, after work, or in the evening. The right person will be responsive, dependable, and willing to do what is necessary to fill open positions. Responsibilities Skilled Trades Recruiter C3 Workforce is seeking a driven, highly organized Skilled Trades Recruiter to join our team in Livonia, Michigan. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing skilled trades candidates with our customers. The right person will be responsive, dependable, and willing to do what is necessary to fill open positions. Recruit skilled trades candidates including CNC machinists, welders, maintenance technicians, electricians, machine builders, fabricators, skilled machine operators, and other industrial trades Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, social media, networking, and direct outreach Conduct phone, video, and in person interviews Evaluate candidates based on work history, technical experience, reliability, availability, compensation expectations, and overall fit Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings Follow up consistently with candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process Coordinate interviews, job offers, onboarding, start dates, and employment documentation Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity in our applicant tracking system Communicate closely with account managers and customers regarding hiring needs and candidate availability Respond to candidate phone calls and text messages outside normal business hours when necessary Meet recruiting goals related to candidate submissions, interviews, placements, starts, and filled orders Build long term relationships with skilled trades candidates and maintain contact with strong candidates even when an immediate opening is not available What We Are Looking For Strong work ethic and willingness to work High energy, urgency, and persistence Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls and sending text messages Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build rapport quickly with blue collar and skilled trades professionals Excellent organizational and follow up skills Ability to manage multiple open positions and candidates at the same time Comfortable being measured on recruiting results and performanceWillingness to answer candidate calls and texts after normal business hours when needed Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment Experience with Microsoft Office and recruiting technology Staffing agency or skilled trades recruiting experience is strongly preferred Benefits and Tools Company provided cell phone Full time, on site position Paid time off Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Life insurance Recruiting technology, job boards, and tools provided by C3 Workforce About C3 Workforce C3 Workforce is a growing staffing and recruiting company headquartered in Livonia, Michigan.
