Director of Business Development

Responsibilities Collaborate with the sales team to exceed yearly revenue objectives and MBO targets Manage all aspects of business development within territory, including market segment/product strategy (with PLM), lead generation, prospect development, design funnel progression and senior level customer relationship building Work with sales to define and implement winning sales strategies at large key accounts Personally grow deep customer and partner relationships at a senior level, within our target markets Be seen as a thought leader at key industry events and conferences, to promote Focuslight strategic themes Establish and drive a strong M&A and partnership funnel, to deliver on inorganic growth opportunities Provide clear BD guidance to Focuslight senior leadership team Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in a professional and international BD/sales environment 10+ years of experience in either CE or Optical Communications markets Self‑motivated team player, ideally with previous experience in working with China based companies Proven track record of driving profitable growth through best‑in‑class business development Strategic thinker with a goal‑oriented and ‘hands on’ mindset Proven negotiation skills in closing deals with large international customers.
