Work Environment\n

This position will allow you to work remotely, connecting with clients through secure telehealth platforms while enjoying the flexibility of a work-from-home structure. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a stable routine that fosters work-life balance. You will be part of a collaborative team that regularly communicates and consults on client cases, ensuring coordinated care and support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing established screening tools.

• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

• Continuously monitor client progress, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Foster integrated care by collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to enhance treatment effectiveness.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, utilizing this knowledge to inform therapeutic strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. This population may also include vulnerable groups like refugees, homeless individuals, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your ability to provide empathetic and nonjudgmental support will be crucial in helping these clients navigate their challenges and work toward recovery.

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Preferred Experience\n
