Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the East Lansing region seeking Production Leads. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Lead and mentor a team of production operators, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control standards.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet targets.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process issues.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a production team to achieve targets.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Bilingual in Spanish or another relevant language
