The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production activities to meet output targets and quality standards.
• Train and mentor production team members on processes, safety, and equipment operation.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures on the production floor.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize production schedules and resolve issues.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods to ensure continuous production flow.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively interacting with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MES).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Demonstrated ability to train and mentor production personnel.
• Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
