About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Sales - Intermodal to join their dynamic organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging the company's intermodal service offerings to address complex supply chain and logistics challenges for both prospective and existing clients. This role demands a strategic and results-driven sales leader with a proven track record in growing new business, particularly within the intermodal vertical. The VP of Sales will be tasked with designing and executing territory sales plans, building and deepening customer relationships, and delivering consultative supply chain solutions. A consultative approach to sales, the ability to influence decisions at the executive level, and a strong background in multi-modal sales, including TL, LTL, Bulk, Rail, and small parcel, are essential. Applicants for the Vice President, Sales - Intermodal position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and have at least 10 years of sales experience, with a focus on multi-modal 4PL/managed transportation/TMS solutions. The role requires a candidate with strong consultative and value-based selling skills, the ability to navigate complex buying committees, and experience in cross-functional collaboration. A background in TMS, supply chain, and logistics technology tools is preferred, and experience with Hazmat and freight forwarding is a plus. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, operate with urgency, and be adept at problem-solving in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
