Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW, your primary functions will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of students, utilizing standardized tools and interviews.

• Developing individualized treatment plans that adhere to best practices and are focused on solution-based interventions tailored to each student’s needs.

• Implementing a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other clinically validated modalities designed to promote resilience and coping skills among students.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.

• Engaging in collaborative treatment planning with educators, parents, and mental health professionals to foster a consistent support system for students.

• Participating in case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously improve the quality of care offered by our team.

• Providing educational resources and support to patients and their families about mental health issues and available treatment options.

• Staying informed about the latest research and trends in mental health, incorporating new knowledge into practice to enhance care delivery.

• Effectively managing a full caseload of clients, ensuring timely and appropriate responses to their treatment needs while adhering to ethical standards established by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with school-aged children and adolescents facing a wide range of behavioral and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. A focus will be placed on empowering these young individuals, enhancing their mental resilience and encouraging positive outcomes in their academic and personal lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.
