Work Environment

This position is based at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Lynchburg, Virginia, where we prioritize a patient-centered atmosphere that promotes healing and wellness. Our onsite facilities are designed to facilitate effective therapy sessions. As part of our team, you will work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 3 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance while providing essential services to the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for pediatric patients, utilizing evidence-based practices to assess strengths and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, aligning with patient goals and clinical best practices.
• Regularly reassess patient progress and modify treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document patient information, including SOAP notes and progress summaries, accurately and timely in our electronic record system.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment goals, the recovery process, and potential challenges, fostering understanding and engagement.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the achievement of company objectives through teamwork and collaboration.
• Partner with other healthcare professionals within Ensemble Therapy to coordinate care for clients receiving multiple services.
• Promote the company's core values and culture, serving as an ambassador for Motion Physical Therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will primarily work with children from diverse backgrounds and varying needs. Your expertise will directly impact their physical rehabilitation and development, helping them overcome obstacles and enhance their functional abilities. Our multidisciplinary approach allows us to address the specific needs of each child, ensuring comprehensive care that considers both physical and emotional aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure from the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Willingness to engage in evaluations and treatment, both in-person and via telehealth channels where appropriate.

Compensation and Benefits
