Senior Accountant

A Leading Services Company located in Monmouth County, NJ is searching for a Senior Accountant who will have the following responsibilities: Month-end close process by reviewing balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness, and recording necessary journal entries. Support the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including detailed management reporting packages. Prepare and analyze quarterly balance sheet variance reports, highlighting key movements and trends for senior leadership. Partner cross-functionally with various business units and locations to address accounting issues, including intercompany activity. Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external audit engagements, coordinating documentation and responding to audit requests. Review existing accounting processes and internal controls, identifying opportunities to strengthen controls and improve operational efficiency. Contribute to financial systems enhancements and process improvement initiatives to improve the timeliness and accuracy of reporting. Qualified candidates for the Senior Accountant role should possess: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting; MBA or CPA a plus 3+ years of experience Experience with Oracle, SAP, or Hyperion a plus The total compensation range for this opportunity is $95,000 to $105,000 plus bonus with excellent benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr Nauticus Group
