You will adhere to a structured work schedule, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, which facilitates productivity and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms related to mood disorders, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health needs.

• Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with their individual goals and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions that enhance clients' well-being.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and treatment options, equipping them with essential tools for self-care and recovery.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs.

• Work alongside psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both therapy and medication management.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in case consultations, team meetings, and specialized training focused on mood disorder treatment.

• Promote mental health awareness and advocate for the destigmatization of mood disorders in the community through various outreach activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily be working with individuals facing challenges associated with mood disorders, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your role will include engaging clients in open discussions about their experiences, understanding their emotional struggles, and identifying coping strategies that build resilience and improve mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Demonstrable expertise in therapeutic modalities specific to mood disorders, especially CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge base in psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with medical professionals.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
