Scheduler Assistant
Location: Union, New Jersey
Shift/Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, hybrid
Pay/Compensation: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour

About the Role

An established regional energy utility is hiring a Scheduler Assistant in Union. You will help coordinate field crew schedules and appointments so work gets done on time. This hybrid contract suits a detail-oriented coordinator who stays calm when plans change.

Assignment Details

• Contract assignment, 6 months with possible extension
• Work setting: hybrid
• Openings: 1
• Anticipated start: within the next two to three weeks

Core Responsibilities

• Schedule field crew appointments and work orders
• Confirm appointments with customers by phone and email
• Update schedules in the work management system
• Reschedule work quickly when priorities change
• Track open orders and report on completion status
• Support supervisors with data entry and reports

Required Qualifications

• 1 or more years of scheduling, dispatch or admin experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
• Clear phone and written communication skills
• Strong organization and multitasking skills
• Able to work onsite in Union on hybrid days

Preferred Qualifications

• Utility, energy or field service experience
• SAP or work management system experience
• Customer service background
• Prior contract or temporary office assignment experience
• Comfort learning new software systems quickly
• Strong record of attendance and follow-through
