Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, considering both psychiatric and medical conditions that impact patients' overall well-being.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that integrate mental health and medical care, collaborating closely with medical providers.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions that are personalized to each patient’s needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and health of clients.

• Educate patients about the interconnection between mental health and physical health, fostering empowerment and self-management of their conditions.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that complies with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and interdisciplinary care planning, contributing valuable insights and strategies to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Stay informed about advancements in integrated care practices and participate in continuing education efforts to enhance your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with a diverse clientele, including individuals who are experiencing mental health disorders alongside various medical conditions. Your expertise will help guide these patients through their complex challenges, supporting their overall health, resilience, and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State.

• Proficient understanding of the mental health needs of patients with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable effective collaboration and support.

• Ability to uphold professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality while adhering to ethical guidelines.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
