Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse array of patients who experience mental health disorders, often complicated by co-occurring medical issues. As a mental health counselor, you will interact with individuals facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and more. Your goal will be to empower these individuals to navigate their difficulties and support their journey towards improved mental and physical health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in New York State as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in addressing the mental health needs of individuals with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

• Ability to maintain professional ethical boundaries and uphold patient confidentiality at all times.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
