Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, while recognizing and integrating their medical histories.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address both mental and physical health needs, employing evidence-based methodologies tailored to each patient’s situation.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing techniques that promote personal growth, resilience, and coping strategies suited to the patient's unique experiences.

• Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team structure, engaging regularly with medical providers to deliver coordinated and cohesive care that supports optimal treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Strong theoretical grounding in mental health practices and a commitment to applying those theories to assist patients with complex needs.
