Director, Global Drug Substance Commercialization, Polysaccharide

Vaxcyte seeks a Director to lead commercialization of polysaccharide drug substances for glycoconjugate vaccines. The role encompasses technical launch planning, regulatory readiness, manufacturing coordination, and cross-functional stakeholder engagement to ensure commercial supply and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical launch planning and execution for polysaccharide commercialization workstreams
• Coordinate regulatory filings, facility readiness, and commercial supply activities
• Communicate manufacturing process rationale to internal teams, CMOs, and regulatory agencies
• Collaborate on program strategy with primary accountability for polysaccharide component strategy
• Ensure on-time execution and lifecycle management planning for commercial activities

Requirements

• Extensive experience in drug substance commercialization or manufacturing science
• Background in vaccine development, polysaccharide chemistry, or biologics manufacturing
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships
• Knowledge of regulatory filing requirements and CMO coordination
• Strong project management and technical communication skills
• Experience with process technology transfer and manufacturing scale-up
