Who We Are

Jam-n Logistics a Los Angeles-based omni-channel 3PL fulfillment provider with over 30 years of experience. We support eCommerce brands, importers, and distributors by streamlining fulfillment operations, improving delivery performance, and enabling scalable growth.

Position Overview

The Business Development Representative (BDR) drives top-of-funnel revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective clients who need outsourced warehousing, fulfillment, and supply chain solutions. You'll work closely with our sales and marketing teams to execute outbound strategies, generate a qualified pipeline, and uncover opportunities where Jam-n can deliver measurable value.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in outbound sales, brings a creative and persistent mindset, and enjoys engaging decision-makers in a meaningful way. As you succeed, there will be opportunities to take on expanded sales responsibilities and grow into a full-cycle sales role based on performance and business needs.

What You'll Do

•      Prospect and build target lists: Identify and research eCommerce brands, importers, and distributors that fit Jam-n's Ideal Customer Profile, using LinkedIn, import data, and industry sources.

•      Run high-volume outbound: Execute relationship-driven calls, emails, and LinkedIn sequences to engage decision-makers and start conversations.

•      Qualify and book meetings: Hold short qualifying conversations to confirm fit, then book and confirm qualified meetings with the right decision-makers.

•      Hand off cleanly to Sales: Pass qualified opportunities to Account Executives with clear notes and context so they can take the deal forward.

•      Manage inbound and campaign leads: Follow up promptly on inbound, marketing campaign, and database leads to determine fit and book meetings where qualified.

•      Keep HubSpot accurate: Log outreach activity, call notes, and lead status in HubSpot daily so pipeline data stays clean and reliable.

•      Share market feedback: Relay common objections, prospect questions, and messaging that lands back to sales and marketing to sharpen outreach.

•      Interest in eCommerce, logistics, or supply chain, and eagerness to learn how 3PL fulfillment works

•      Self-driven, competitive, and high-energy with a strong desire to succeed

•      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

•      Strong organizational and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities

•      Creative problem solver and team player who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment

•      Resilient and adaptable — maintains outreach volume and attitude through slow periods and rejection

•      Internship or prior experience in sales, business development, or a related field is a plus

Compensation

Base salary plus uncapped commission. Earnings are directly tied to performance — qualified meetings generated and accounts closed. Full details, activity benchmarks, and bonus tiers are outlined in the BDR Commission Plan.

•      Integrity and professionalism: Represent Jam-n accurately — never overpromise on SLAs or capacity. Build long-term relationships, not just transactions.

•      Resilience and adaptability: Maintain outreach volume and attitude through slow periods, and adapt messaging quickly based on market feedback and seasonal demand shifts.
