Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess clients' mood disorder symptoms, focusing on intensity, frequency, and duration. Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that align with their unique requirements, goals, and preferences. Employ evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mental health challenges. Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to encourage active participation in their recovery. Regularly monitor client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes. Work cohesively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care. Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic strategies. Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to continually enhance your skills. Advocate for clients' mental health needs and address stigma associated with mental health issues. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, relationship challenges, and significant life transitions, such as divorce. By utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s situation, you will strive to create a safe space for open communication, reflection, and healing. Qualifications Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating effective communication and empathy to build trust with clients. Ability to engage clients with a non-judgmental attitude, fostering an environment conducive to healing. Excellent organizational and time-management skills to ensure effective management of caseload and administrative tasks. Preferred Experience Experience in structural, strategic, systems, narrative, trans-generational, or communication therapy modalities. Familiarity with issues surrounding divorce and relationship counseling. Knowledge of the latest therapies and research related to mood disorders and family therapy. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
