Medical Device Assembler, R&D

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Medical Device Assembler, R&D to work with a leading medical device company in Irvine. This role involves working within the Research and Development department to assemble and package products under the guidance of the line lead and supervisor.

Shift Patterns

• Monday - Friday, 5:00am to 1:30pm
• Must be flexible to work overtime

Pay Rates

• 22.00 USD hourly

Essential Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a Medical Device Assembler
• Ability to perform small part assembly work using a microscope
• Comfortable performing basic math calculations required for manufacturing or assembly tasks
• Previous experience working in a clean room environment

Desirable Requirements

• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and how it functions
• Solder and gluing experience of small parts under a microscope
• Experience manufacturing parts for R&D
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Role Responsibilities

• Assemble and package medical device products following written and verbal instructions
• Maintain accurate build records for production products
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to resolve production issues
• Assist in the manufacturing of prototypes for R&D
• Complete quality control forms and adhere to safety standards
