Sample Coordinator

Sample Coordinator position managing laboratory sample intake and tracking operations. Responsibilities include sample accession, data entry, client coordination, and use of laboratory information systems for food, dietary supplements, and microbiology testing.

Responsibilities

Perform sample accession including opening, entering, tracking, labeling, and disposition
Process food, dietary supplements, and microbiology samples for laboratory entry
Operate LabWare Laboratory Information System (NIMS) in daily duties
Communicate discrepancies and assist with problem resolution
Handle internal customer inquiries and coordinate with client service team

Requirements

Associate degree in science or related field; experience may substitute
Strong customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and sample handling
Ability to learn new tasks and systems quickly
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Working knowledge of computer systems
Commutable distance to Madison, WI

Compensation: $18-$20/hour
