Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting therapeutic sessions with couples and families, providing evidenced-based interventions tailored to their dynamics.

• Facilitating individual therapy sessions as needed, focusing on unique issues pertinent to each patient.
\n
• Developing personalized treatment plans that address a range of issues, including but not limited to: \n

  • Alcohol abuse
  \n
  • Grief and loss
  \n
  • Family conflicts and communication difficulties
  \n
  • Adjustment issues related to divorce and separation
  \n
  • Stress management related to job and medical issues
  \n

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client records following HIPAA guidelines and best practices.

• Collaborating with a diverse team of professionals to coordinate care and referrals when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population including adults, children, and adolescents experiencing various issues related to family dynamics, psychological trauma, and life transitions. Our clients often face significant challenges—ranging from interpersonal conflicts to behavioral health issues—requiring sensitivity, empathy, and expert therapeutic skills.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active LMFT license in the state of New York.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.
