Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring their individual recovery goals are met.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities tailored to each patient's needs, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and pain management strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment efficacy in line with best practices and legal requirements.
• Engage with patients to educate them on rehabilitation strategies and empower them to take an active role in their recovery, fostering independence.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service by building strong relationships with patients, ensuring a supportive and welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Meet specified utilization goals and assist in reaching clinic objectives, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this dynamic role, you will treat a diverse range of patients, including those dealing with orthopedic issues, sports injuries, and postoperative recovery. Your expertise will directly impact various patient demographics, from children with athletic injuries to adults undergoing rehabilitation after joint replacements. By focusing on individualized care, you will help each patient achieve optimal functional outcomes and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• At least two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with patients and healthcare teams.
• Proficient in computer literacy, including experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• A commitment to establishing strong patient relationships to facilitate successful therapeutic outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including aquatics, manual therapy, and functional movement training.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines and performance metrics in physical therapy.
• Strong background in patient education and community outreach initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance your career experience.
