Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Hope Horizon Diagnostic Health, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for new and existing clients to gauge their emotional and mental health needs.

• Delivering individualized therapy sessions, as well as family and group therapy, focusing on relational dynamics and effective communication.

• Developing and implementing treatment plans tailored to clients’ goals, tracking progress, and adjusting interventions as necessary to facilitate positive outcomes.

• Utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities to support children and families in overcoming challenges.

• Conducting ongoing evaluations to assess client progress and engagement with therapeutic goals, ensuring effective treatment strategies are in place.

• Researching and advocating for community resources to support clients, addressing practical needs such as financial assistance, heath services, and family support systems.

• Facilitating workshops or group therapy sessions focused on mindfulness, stress reduction, and interpersonal communication to enhance overall client well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals dealing with substance use challenges and co-existing mental health disorders. You will help clients navigate the complexities of their lives, such as significant life transitions, chronic illnesses, and relational issues like divorce or parenting struggles, all while providing a supportive and therapeutic space for healing.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

• A valid and active license to practice in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy, which is not under suspension or probation.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in providing mental health services, with a focus on family therapy, counseling, or therapeutic practices.

• Highly proficient communication skills that foster trust, openness, and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

Though not mandatory, candidates with additional training or familiarity with Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques will be viewed favorably.
