Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions Willingness to learn and grow in a production environment Experience Requirements Entry-level position – no prior experience required Strong work ethic and positive attitude Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards Job Duties Inspect shipping crates used for John Deere riding mowers Repair damaged crates and replace missing cotter pins Remove stickers, residue, and debris from crates Unload, stack, and organize crates throughout the facility Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow quality standards and safety procedures Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as assigned Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift. Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 40 pounds when required. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy. Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments. What You Will Do As an Inspector, you will inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications. You will use precision measuring equipment, document inspection results, identify nonconforming materials, support corrective actions, and help maintain quality records while promoting safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
