Admissions and Development Manager

The Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights is hiring a Admissions and Development Manager, $95,000–$115,000 a year. You'll lead our admissions department, drive occupancy growth across our full continuum of care, and build the hospital and referral relationships that fuel it.

You'll have full ownership of admissions performance for our residential and healthcare levels of living, from short-term rehab through skilled nursing and senior living. You'll lead a team including Admissions Coordinators, an Admissions Contracts Liaison, and a Hospital/BD Liaison, and play an active, hands-on role in managing incoming referrals.

What you'll do

• Own admissions department performance and occupancy growth across all levels of care
• Build and grow relationships with referring hospitals, physicians, and community partners
• Lead and develop a team of Admissions Coordinators, a Contracts Liaison, and a Hospital/BD Liaison
• Manage a strategic sales plan focused on relationship development and referral expansion
• Ensure timely, accurate admissions documentation and contract execution
• Represent The Lutheran Home at community and networking events to build market presence
• Partner with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure smooth, positive move-ins for residents and families

What you'll need

Required:

• Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of equivalent related experience
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience
• At least 4 years of consultative or high-touch sales experience, senior living experience preferred
• Experience developing and managing budgets
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

Preferred:

• Experience developing staff policies and procedures
• Experience with CRM systems in a sales or admissions context

Schedule
Full-time, exempt. Some evening and weekend availability required for on-call and department coverage.
