Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in managing your work schedule. However, it is set in an educational context, focusing on students’ mental health needs. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend commitments to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments to evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.

• Provide direct clinical therapy to students experiencing major mental health issues and emotional disorders, employing evidence-based practices.

• Participate actively as a collaborative team member, working with educators, school counselors, and mental health professionals to achieve shared goals.
\n
• Lead crisis interventions, offering immediate support and guidance during emergencies while ensuring a safe environment for students.

• Document sessions accurately and maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards, as set by the social work code of conduct.

• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance intervention skills and adapt to new methodologies that improve student outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with students in diverse educational settings who face challenges related to mental health, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. The LCSW will address a varied client base, taking special care to understand and respect the unique backgrounds, traditions, and beliefs of each student.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW) and active LCSW licensure are required for this role.
